Racing in France & St Moritz
Working with Kent based racehorse trainer John Best also has the benefit of the yard's proximity to the English Channel, making day trips and weekend breaks to France a desirable option.
Owners have enjoyed racing in Chantilly, Longchamps, Deauville and Compiegne. Combining enjoyable racing at beautiful racecourses with mouthwatering French cuisine is easily within reach.
And if that isn't enough to tempt you how about the fact that owners of French bred racehorses take advantage of the owners' premiums which adds over 60% to any prize money won in France. With most races being worth a total of over 25,000 Euros and, after adding the owners' premium, a winning horse would normally receive close to 20,000 Euros with prize money down to fifth.
If you are looking for a unique racing experience slightly further afield then getting involved in taking a racehorse out to race on a frozen lake set high in the Swiss Alps could be just what you're looking for.
We've been racing out in St Moritz for many years now, so much so, that it's becoming an annual event every February! Owners were thrilled when St Moritz specialist Berrhari took the "King of the Mountain" trophy in 2019 winning White Turf's most prestigious race the Longines 80th Grand Prix. We take care of all the logisitics of getting the horses out there and have cultivated relationships with local hoteliers and restauranteurs to ensure our owners have the trip of a lifetime.
