Progressive Trainer with Group success
We work predominantly with Flat racehorse trainer John Best who has been training racehorses in Kent for nearly two decades. He moved to a new training yard Eyehorn Farm in December 2014 and the following year sent out 36 winners and over 85 horses placed from only 29 runners.
Over the years he has had success at the highest level and is renowned for having "an eye" for spotting potential in yearlings and buying them at the right price. Many of his owners have benefited from these yearling purchases when they have subsequently been sold for significant profit after a successful period on the track.
Key successes include:
Stone of Folca winning the Epsom Dash setting a new world record over 5f
Kingsgate Native dual winning Group 1 sprinter
Sir Gerry multiple Group/Listed winner and winner out in Dubai
Flashmans Papers Royal Ascot Listed winner
Square Eddie Group 1 winner in the USA
Rising Cross Group 2 winning filly and placed 2nd and 3rd in the English and Irish Oaks respectively
Princess Rose Anne Listed winner in St Moritz
He is based at the immpressive Eyehorn Farm where owners can watch their horses on the all weather round and straight gallops. The racehorses are stabled in spacious barns and owners are welcome to visit them as often as they like. Owners have a dedicated owners' lounge and overnight accommodation is available if needed.
