Win on hurdle handicap debut

Cheng Gong made his hurdle handicap debut today at Taunton in a competitive race over 2m 3f on good to soft. Jockey Millie Wonnacott had him nicely placed in a prominent position travelling well and he joined the leaders 3f out. Cheng Gong got his nose in front two out before pulling clear over the last to win easily.
